About Brandon Kling

Enthralled and excited by ocean travel since an early age, I'm still caught up in the adventure, thrill, and timeless traditions unique to cruising. Traveling is one of my top priorities and is my favorite pastime. I crave the enrichment, discovery, and hopefully, I return informed and enlightened. Wherever I go, my insatiable curiosity leads to a fascinating exploration and immersion in local culture like arts, architecture, history, cuisine but also nature and wildlife.

Diverse & exciting

While my travels are active and adventurous, I also like to balance scheduled plans with slower-paced, relaxing days, sometimes with no agenda at all! A good example is a beach trip to Zanzibar as an excellent finale to a safari across Tanzania and the Serengeti. Or hiking and canoeing the Amazon followed by a cruise through the Galápagos Islands.

When I’m not traveling, I enjoy planning the next trip from my home base in New York City where I also work in television journalism. This 24/7/365 industry keeps me on top of big events, requiring attention to detail and the ability to coordinate complex and dynamic global operations. This 16-year-long career, and going, is certainly interesting and exciting, but covering far-flung, exotic locales from a control room at headquarters only propelled my desire to get out there and see it myself.

Thank you so much

This passion and experience gained the attention of people around me, especially successful, busy and well-travelled professionals who seek my guidance, and Travel KLING grew from there.
